K-ELECTRIC “ENERGY THAT MOVES LIFE”: FROM THIS WORLD TO NEXT
Government has spent huge amount of money on Metro Bus Service that has benefited many government officials and people of the ruling party. After heavy rain today, bus station turned into a pool. People who are fed up of load shedding can come and enjoy there, it’s actually a relief provided by government to general public of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Don’t misjudge government. It’s not their fault if Metro bus stations are drowned today after rain; they got blind that’s why they did not consider sewerage system of Rawalpindi and Islamabad while designing map. Similarly it’s not their fault if people are dying due to heat stroke in Karachi, as stated by Abid Sher Ali.
K-Electric, formerly known as Karachi Electric Supply Company proved their slogan: “energy that moves life” by actually moving lives of more than 700 citizens from this world to the next. Khursheed Shah stated in National Assembly today that government should take over K-Electric as the death rate due to heat wave and no electricity surpassed 700. I can’t say it for sure that they thought of it to improve the situation or further deteriorate it.
Shortage of electricity itself is big question. UPS and other such appliances are installed in many homes of Pakistan. These devices stores electricity and provide it at times of load shedding after wasting 25% from it by default. What’s the point of load shedding then? We store electric energy in devices like UPS and 25% percent from it is wasted for no reason. If this is the case, then why we cannot have it on regular basis without 25% wastage of energy? Every second day something happens to electricity transformers at several places all over the Pakistan. Why don’t they prefer to use quality things at once? We pay heavy electricity bills but in return there is no electricity in Karachi on funerals either. Who gets the benefit from our pain; these companies or government?
Anyhow, it’s not their fault. Yes! I am serious it’s not their fault. Does not matter how many times situations like this will occur; we would still cast our vote for these parties forgetting everything. If it’s not their fault then, who is at fault? Please think about it.
